The AKARI 10D is one of the most celebrated spherical silhouettes in Isamu Noguchi's legendary 1951 light sculpture collection. Defined by its seamless, voluminous paper orb elevated on minimalist black tripod legs, the 10D brings organic geometry and architectural calmness to modern interiors.

Every rib is tied, not fastened. Each fine split-bamboo rib is hand-bound to the next with white thread at every joint — 53 cm across, 121 cm tall, raised on black tripod legs.

Machine-fastened frames show their hardware at every joint. Hand-bound ribs disappear into the seam, which is why the 10D reads as one continuous paper sphere instead of a cage with a skin on it.
