A slightly larger table lamp that emphasizes proportion and simplicity. The AKARI 4A uses a paper shade tensioned over bamboo ribs to achieve a clean, organic shape. Mounted on a thin metal stand, it provides warm, diffused light suitable for lounge areas, bedside tables, or office corners. The lamp's construction allows it to fold flat for storage or shipping without damaging the washi surface.

Created for design lovers and collectors, this museum-quality edition recreates the iconic Noguchi Akari frame using natural Sichuan bamboo—sourced from the home of pandas, famous for its bamboo heritage. Every thin bamboo rib is tied by hand with fine white thread at every joint. This classic technique brings out authentic wabi-sabi detail, making your Japanese paper floor lamp a true work of art.

Made 100% by hand, each piece carries a rich artisan feel. Paired with iconic bentwood rings—double-polished for an extra smooth finish—every detail comes together to elevate the whole design.Ours feature natural wood veneer bent into nested "bentwood" rings—lightweight, rock-solid, and a craft recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage in both China and Japan.
